“I was curious about Crokinole but hesitated to purchase an expensive board. So instead, I backed the Kickstarter for a ‘other’ Crokinole board, just to try it out. (…) My old Crokinole board worked fine, but I glanced at the more expensive models and knew I wouldn’t be satisfied with anything else,… The game is so much fun and there was no doubt that it was something we wanted to play in the long run, and if we’re doing that, it made sense to invest in the best product we could find.
